Struggle Against

Is it the blood and the flesh and the bone, the teeth and nail and the bindings
which make us whole?
All other creatures seek seemingly simple goals; whose pieces form a puzzle;
a quiet secret told:
Let no moment slip, be simple but firm and true; after all, they know,
no one else looks out for you.
It is human dis-nature to fight against the easy, fall prey to the jagged road
whose blade leaves us bloody.
So if you left something unsaid; feel like killing all joy inside RAISE the remnants up now
not after you die.
We leave no argument silently, no prey behind, fighting to the bitter end
to see whose truly alive.
I could tell you about a moment, in which I knew truth in someone else's eyes
Where my spirit reached beyond me
Where I left my body behind....
I could tell you, if you only knew you would know what life is meant for
that you already felt it, tasted it
that you fear what you are in for
I really could tell you, and maybe you would hold on for a moment....
I swear I could tell you
But it's too late,
You just died.
